Shark ION ROBOT 750 Vacuum Review

Welcome to a Vacuum Cleaner Battery specialist
of the V-Bot Battery

I have to admit when I got the Shark ION Robot 750 with battery like V-Bot M8 Battery, V-Bot RV-9 Battery, V-Bot RV-10 Battery, V-Bot RV13 Battery, V-Bot RV88 Battery, V-Bot TRV10 Battery, V-Bot TRV11NB88 Battery, Evolution Robotics Battery, Evolution Robotics 837986 Battery, Evolution Robotics Mint 5200 Battery, Evolution Robotics Mint 5200C Battery, Evolution Robotics Mint 4200 Battery I was somewhat dubious about robotic vacuums. I’m kind of old school and am used to upright vacuums, canister vacuums, stick vacuums – that kind of thing. I figured small robotic units were novel and interesting but perhaps not really that useful. I have now changed my tune – somewhat. Indeed the unit will not do the job of a larger manual vacuum but that is not really the intended purpose. This machine is designed to keep your floors “reasonably clean” with “minimal effort” expended on your part, and it does that fairly well.

What does “reasonably clean” mean? Today’s robotic vacuums will not do the deep, efficient cleaning of a larger manual vacuum cleaner. They haven’t got the suction power, the mobility, or the human brain to help them with navigation. But they do pick up the surface dirt/debris. In our case, a visual inspection typically indicates that after running the ION Robot for an hour about 75%-90% of the surface dirt/debris on our floors has been picked up.

What does “minimal effort” mean? Once your area is prepped (more on this later) you simply start the vacuum. All you really have to do is press the “Clean” button and walk away. Or, if you have Alexa or Google Home you will just have to tell the robot to start cleaning. It’s hard to get more “minimal effort” than that. However, like most vacuums there is a level of maintenance required so you don’t get a break there.

There was a time when a decent robotic vacuum was prohibitively expensive but today they are similar in price to that of a good upright/canister/stick vacuum (say $250 – $500). We’ve seen this unit as low as about $300. This “affordability” combined with better technology and batteries are the driving forces behind the significant growth we are seeing in robotic vacuum sales.

The Shark ION Robot series – models RV700, RV720, RV750, RV755 – is Shark’s first foray into robotic vacuums. We’ve recently noticed that many of the vacuum manufacturers are beginning to put at least some research and development into this area of floor cleaning. We saw Dyson do this last year with their 360 Eye Robot. It seems they have some work to do on that machine but I have no doubt they will make improvements and have the next generation out soon. Shark’s first robotic implementation is faring somewhat better and consumer ratings are quite reasonable. You can see a table of RV750 owner ratings from some of the top retail outlets below.

EcoVacs DeeBot N79 Robot Vacuum Cleaner Review

EcoVacs DeeBot N79 Robot Vacuum Cleaner Review

Welcome to a Vacuum Cleaner Battery specialist
of the Ecovacs Battery

While names like Roomba and Neato might be more well known, the EcoVacs Deebot N79 with battery like Ecovacs 8 Series Battery, Ecovacs 520 Battery, Ecovacs 526 Battery, Ecovacs CR130 Battery, Ecovacs BP-54 Battery, Ecovacs XR210 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 580 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 570 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 560 Battery, Ecovacs CR120 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 540 Battery, Ecovacs Deebot D54 Battery is currently the best selling robot vacuum on Amazon. Owners say they like its low price, useful features, and the fact it can be controlled remotely from a smartphone.

But just because a product is popular doesn’t necessarily mean it’s any good. That’s why we put the Deebot N79 through our rigorous robot vacuum obstacle course, which includes thresholds, area rugs, pet hair, spilled food, and furniture.
Our verdict? While the Deebot N79 isn’t the best robot vacuum you can buy, it’s an awesome value for the money. If you’ve always been curious about robot vacuums but don’t want to spend a fortune on one, you’ll be happy with the N79.

•Above average dirt pickup, although sometimes inconsistent
•Takes a long time to clean, so run it while you’re away
•It rarely gets stuck—robot vacuums that cost twice as much struggle with this!
•Has some trouble going from hardwood floors to high-pile carpet

Like other affordable robot vacuums, the Deebot N79 lacks fancy features like camera-based navigation or high-capacity batteries. But unlike other affordable robot vacuums, the N79 can be controlled via a remote control or a smartphone app.
You can start and stop it, change cleaning patterns, schedule cleanings, and command it to clean your home when you’re at work. That means the N79 is the most affordable smart robot vacuum you can buy.
Notably, there’s no support for third-party smart home services like Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, or Google Home. For that, you’d have to upgrade to a model like the popular Eufy RoboVac 11c, which costs at least $100 more.
In our tests, the N79 averaged over an hour and a half to clean a 100 sq. ft. room. On some tests, it picked up over 11 grams of the test dirt we put down on hardwood floors and rugs—as much as high-end vacuums from iRobot and Dyson. However, sometimes it only picked up nine grams of dirt, leaving debris under furniture legs and shelves. We weren’t thrilled with this inconsistency.
During our tests, we measured hard impacts as the N79 rammed furniture while navigating—hard enough to knock over a dog’s food or water dish. Unfortunately, there’s no way to keep this vacuum out of rooms where you don’t want it other than closing a door.
The N79 took awhile to transition from hardwood floors to tall carpet. It never got stuck on throw rugs, largely because it was unwilling to approach them in the first place. But it had no trouble staying away from stairs and balconies, and it always found its way back to its charging station when the battery started to run low.
If you’ve always wanted a robot vacuum, but you don’t want to spend a lot of money, we recommend the Deebot N79. You can control it remotely, and it’s really inexpensive.
However, if you have an extra $100 to spare, we think you should check out the Eufy Robovac 11c instead. It cleans better, and it includes Amazon Alexa support.
And if you just want the cheapest robot vacuum available, the iLife A4s will save you around $50.

Samsung Robot Vacuum VR7000

Samsung Robot Vacuum VR7000

Welcome to a Vacuum Cleaner Battery specialist
of the Samba Battery

Samsung will be bringing a new floor-cleaning robot to CES 2017. All signs point to the PowerBot VR7000 being a slimmer and smarter version of the VR9000, which is already on the market.

This time around, the VR7000 with battery such as Samba JNB-XR210 Battery, Samba JNB-XR210C Battery, Samba XR210 Battery, Samba XR210C Battery, KV8 Battery, KV8 210C Battery, KV8 210XR Battery, Neato Battery, Neato XV-11 Battery, Neato XV-12 Battery, Neato XV-15 Battery, Neato XV-21 Battery will be 3.8 inches tall—28% slimmer than previous models. While that’s still taller than most iRobot models, the VR7000 needs the space for what is likely to be a more powerful motor. Samsung claims the improved motor will be able to achieve 53% more suction than previous robot vacs.

On the smart features front, this PowerBot is loaded for bear. Samsung says the VR7000 will be completely controllable with your smartphone. The 7000 will also work with Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant, meaning you’ll be able to control it via voice commands.

The VR7000 will utilize Samsung’s Visionary Mapping Plus room-mapping system and FullView Sensors 2.0 to help it navigate. Combining these two systems will allow the 7000 to learn contours of rooms, get better edge cleaning, and avoid obstacles as small as 10mm across.

Samsung has not announced pricing or availability. However, if previous models are any indication, the VR7000 should have an MSRP of around $999.

The Samsung PowerBot VR7000 will likely replace the current VR9000. We liked how powerful the 9000 was, and how it was able to able to get atop dark, high-pile carpet.

The only problem was that it was too large to get under beds and sofas. Hopefully, the slimmer VR7000 will be able to squeeze its body into tighter spaces.

Robomow RS612 Review

Welcome to a Vacuum Cleaner Battery specialist
of the Ecovacs Battery

The Robomow RS612 with battery like Ecovacs Deebot D56 Battery, Ecovacs DeeBot D58 Battery, Ecovacs 730-5 Battery, Ecovacs Deebot D73 Battery, Ecovacs Deebot D77 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 620 Battery, Ecovacs Dibea X500 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 650 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 660 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 680 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 720 Battery, Ecovacs Deepoo 760 Battery is the most expensive robotic lawn mower we looked at. While it’s a good model, there isn’t much to recommend it over our top pick, the Husqvarna Automower 315, or other similarly priced machines.

You can install this robot mower system yourself, and all the components you need come in the box. However, be prepared to spend a good amount of time installing it – depending on the size of your yard, it takes about three to four hours to install the system. Other robot lawn mowers we reviewed let you opt for professional installation, and we would like to see Robomow offer something similar in the future.

You can program this model to mow in four separate zones, each with its own frequency and height settings. This lets you give special attention to spots in your yard that need a little extra TLC.

Once everything is installed and programmed, this robot lawn mower takes care of itself. It runs for about 45 minutes starting from a full charge, and when the battery gets low, it automatically returns to its station to power up. The RS612 can take anywhere from an hour to 90 minutes to fully recharge. While that isn’t too long, it isn’t particularly fast compared to other robot lawn mowers.

The Robomow RS612’s blade design is slightly different than those on three other mowers we reviewed. Rather than small razor blades, the Robomow RS612 uses two triangular blades to cut the grass. This makes them a bit easier to change, since you can just snap them on rather than dismantling the bottom of the unit with a screwdriver.

This robot mower is also marginally louder than other models we reviewed. It’s guaranteed not to exceed 74 decibels, which is about as loud as a garbage disposal. For comparison, our top pick produces 65 decibels and the quietest only about 57 decibels. So, while it probably won’t wake up your neighbors, it has the potential to get annoying for people hanging out in your yard.

The Robomow RS612 can handle lawns up to .25 acres, making it suitable for small to average-size lawns. However, that’s a relatively small maximum area compared to our top pick, which can mow .37 acres or more.

One thing to note about this robot lawn mower is it’s very heavy – about 44 pounds. This shouldn’t be too big of a deal, since you don’t have to pick it up very often. But it might tough for a kid or older person to bring it indoors during a storm or for the winter months.

The warranty period on this model is only one year. That’s short for a machine this expensive – less expensive models have two- or three-year warranties.

Husqvarna Automower 315 Review

Welcome to a Vacuum Cleaner Battery specialist
of the Husqvarna Automower Battery

When we researched and compared the best robot lawn mowers, we chose the Husqvarna Automower 315 as our top pick. It’s not the company’s top-of-the-line model, but it has the most essential features for a reasonable price. It’s also one of the few models we reviewed you can buy online and not through a local dealer. Once properly installed, you can count on this mower to keep your lawn trim and clean for several years.

This robot lawn mower with battery such as Husqvarna Automower AU-18C Battery, Husqvarna Automower AU-18V Battery, Husqvarna Automower 210C Battery, Husqvarna Automower 220 Battery, Husqvarna Automower 230ACX Battery, Husqvarna Automower 260ACX Battery, Husqvarna Automower G2 2004-2006 Battery, Husqvarna Automower SH Battery, Husqvarna Automower 540059601 Battery, iRobot Roomba 4905 WC Battery, iRobot Roomba APS 4905 Battery, iRobot Roomba Tenergy 11701 Battery is a prime example of “set it and forget it” done right. Once your boundary wire, guide wire and charging station are installed, you rarely need to interact with the mower itself. It automatically trims your lawn every day, unless you program it otherwise. When it runs low on battery, it returns to the charging station on its own for a recharge. It takes about 60 minutes to fully charge the battery and lasts about 70 minutes before it returns to its base.

One of the biggest advantages the Automower has over its traditional counterparts is it works in the rain. The machine itself is fully sealed, so no water gets in, and the cover over the charging station provides additional protection from more severe storms. But that doesn’t mean you can leave it outside during extreme weather or during the winter. The dealers we spoke to say you should definitely bring it indoors in those situations.

This version of the Automower has an area capacity of 0.37 acres. You should note this is the mowing area, not the entirety of your property. So, you can discount the size of your house and other structures on your lot when calculating if this model is sufficient for your needs. You can expect this mower to cover most small to average-size lawns.

The machine’s listed terrain/slope performance is 22 degrees. However, when we spoke to a dealer, he informed us that he’s seen the Automower handle hills and inclines that are far steeper than that.

A major difference between robot lawn mowers and traditional push mowers is the amount of noise they make. Traditional lawn mowers can be heard from blocks away. Robot lawn mowers, on the other hand, are extraordinarily quiet. The Automower only produces about 60 decibels of sound, which is the volume of a casual conversation. So, you can use this mower any time of day or night without annoying the neighbors or disturbing anyone’s sleep.

While you generally don’t have to interact with the Automower very much, when you do, it’s quite simple. You access the control panel by removing the top cover. The large HMI display is easy to understand and use to personalize your mower to your yard’s unique needs.

The machine automatically shuts down when picked up or taken outside the boundary wire. Additionally, you can opt for a GPS theft tracking system so you can recover the mower if thieves make off with it.

Although it is possible to buy this model online and install it yourself, you should consider either buying from a dealer or having someone install it for you. Dealers are trained on how to install the boundary and guide wire properly, and if you do it wrong, it can result in hours of wasted and repeated digging in your yard. Additionally, there may be some electrical work involved with installing the charging station – we recommend having it installed by a professional.

Since the Automower 315 is an entry-level model, you leave some features on the table. For example, the higher-tier models have GPS navigation, which maps your lawn so the Automower remembers where obstacles are and which parts have been recently mowed. You also miss out on headlights, which aren’t strictly necessary since it doesn’t need them to operate at night, but it’s nice to be able to see it in the dark. If you want all the features available, check the Husqvarna website to see which Automower model works for you.
